Howard County has updated its COVID-19 Dashboard to include testing data. The fifth section of the dashboard details the seven-day rolling average positivity rate, the number of tests administered daily, and overall tests administered. The case summary section now also includes a seven-day rolling average of confirmed cases.

“As we move through this crisis, we’re making every effort to be as transparent and data-informed as possible,” said County Executive Calvin Ball. “This data is critical to how we evaluate our progress and make decisions on what is safe to reopen. Our residents can continue to monitor Howard County’s trends and understand how COVID-19 is impacting our community.”

Additionally, the Columbia VEIP site is now operating on summer hours from 8 a.m.–12 p.m., as more residents are returning to work. Getting tested for Coronavirus at the site still requires a doctor’s referral and an appointment. For a list of testing sites in Howard County, visit
