CRTC Tabs Elstner as Interim Director
The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (CRTC) Board of Directors has announced Board Member and Treasurer John Elstner as its interim executive director. The appointment follows the departure of Kris Valerio Shock for a position in the private sector.

Plans Revealed for New Hotel at Maryland Live!
The Capital has reported that the Cordish Companies, the developers of Maryland Live! Casino, want to build an 18-story hotel at the Hanover casino, and that plans for the project are before the county Office of Planning and Zoning.
Providence Center, MRA, AACC Partner for Healthier Rivers
Providence Center is teaming up with the Magothy River Association (MRA) and Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) to make local rivers healthier by producing a floating garden at Providence Center’s greenhouses that will provide a natural filtration process, as well as create a habitat for wildlife.
