The Child Development Center at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) met 10 early childhood program standards and more than 400 quality standards to receive reaccreditation, through 2020, by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

The center provides early education and child care to children ages 2 to 5 years old. Klenkel says that, in addition to providing parents with assurance that their children are in an excellent learning environment, the center also wanted to provide a model program for the college’s early education students who do fieldwork in CDC classrooms.

The Child Development Center at AACC recently was reaccredited for its early child development programs by the NAEYC. The center accepts children ages 2-5, with a variety of program options available.
