NGC Promotes Three
Northrop Grumman Corp. (NGC) has announced three promotions at its Electronic Systems sector in Linthicum. They are Eric Reinke, III, to vice president and chief technology officer; Nicholas Paraskevopoulos, to vice president and general manager of engineering, manufacturing and logistics; and Robert Gough to vice president of the Combat Avionics Systems business unit.
Guard Change at Arundel Federal
George Behr, Jr., is set to retire as president of Glen Burnie-based Arundel Federal Savings Bank. Behr, who joined Arundel Federal Savings Bank in 1981 as controller and became president in June 1997, will continue to serve on the board of directors. The board has named David Costello to replace Behr. Costello joined the management team at Arundel Federal as chief operating officer in 2012.
The Little Things Welcomes Johnson
The Little Things for Cancer has welcomed Kristin Johnson as its new director of special events and development. She is a veteran of the fundraising field and is a member of the Leadership Howard County Class of 2015.
CBRE Tabs Zulick
CBRE has announced that Tim Zulick will assume leadership of CBRE’s Baltimore office as managing director, overseeing the firm’s regional multi-family and industrial service lines. He comes to CBRE from First Potomac Realty Trust.
Ciena Adds Moran
Hanover-based Ciena has appointed Cindy Moran to its government advisory board, where she will provide strategic guidance to Ciena Government Solutions Inc. Moran has spent nearly 20 years working on DoD communications networks.
AACC’s HCAT Institute Director Honored
Mary Ellen Mason, director of the Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism (HCAT) Institute at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), was presented the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s 2015 Otto Schellhase Award. A former chair of the board of the RAM Education Foundation, she is an active member of the American Culinary Federation.
Neighbor Ride Names Fulton
Neighbor Ride has announced the hiring of Bruce Fulton as its new executive director. Fulton has volunteered with Neighbor Ride as a driver and ride coordinator since 2010. He spent the prior 11 years at T. Rowe Price.
Biagiotti Named at BGE
BGE recently announced that Robert Biagiotti has been named vice president and chief customer officer. Biagiotti has held numerous technical and leadership positions throughout his 24-year tenure with BGE.

Kittleman Appoints Arditti
Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman, a recently appointed ex-officio trustee of The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA), has selected Sara Arditti, owner of Still Life Gallery Fine Art & Custom Framing, Ellicott City, to serve as his representative on the BMA Board of Trustees. Her duties will include developing new opportunities for the BMA to play a role in the visual arts in Howard County.
Conifer-LeChase Hires Roberts
Conifer-LeChase Construction has announced the addition of Brett Roberts as project manager for its Columbia office. Roberts will oversee the management of various multi-family housing projects, including pre-construction, construction and post-construction phases.
First National Bank Hires Dornan
First National Bank of Pennsylvania has hired Melissa Dornan as vice president, private banker, in the bank’s Maryland Region. Based out of Annapolis, the former director of Retail Banking at Capital One in Washington, D.C., will serve Maryland clients’ financial needs for banking and wealth management by recommending credit, investment and fiduciary planning solutions.
Helmecki Serving Arundel With Pruski
Dave Helmecki has accepted the Legislative Aide position for Anne Arundel County’s District 4 office. Helmecki has worked for several municipal and county agencies in Maryland and, most recently, was employed with Anne Arundel Properties as a real estate agent.
Harrison Joins Board
Chesapeake Conservancy has announced that Verna Harrison, public policy consultant, has joined the conservancy’s board of directors. Harrison is the principal of Verna Harrison Associates and previously served as executive director for The Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment from its 2003 inception until 2014.
HCPSS Superintendent Named BRAVA! Winner
Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) Superintendent Renee Foose has been named a 2015 Brava! Award winner by SmartCEO. Foose, along with the other winners, will be featured in the July/August issue of SmartCEO magazine.
Reichard Joins MakingChange Board

Linthicum-based Shared Service Solution (S3), along with its owners Bellco Credit Union, Bethpage Federal Credit Union and SECU of Maryland, have promoted Mike Scully to CEO. Scully joined S3 at COO in August 2012.
