• Saturday, April 7: 9 a.m.–noon. Stream Cleanup along the Hudson Branch in historic Ellicott City, in partnership with the Ellicott City Restoration Foundation (ECRF) and Historic Ellicott City residents and businesses. • Tuesday, April 10: 7 p.m. Location TBA. PHG Annual Meeting and History Presentation on the “40th Anniversary of Tropical Storm Agnes & Its Effect on the Patapsco River Valley.” For more information, e-mail patapscofriend@gmail.com. Inclement weather date: April 17.

• Tuesday, April 17: 9:30–10:30 a.m. PHG Presentation on Patapsco Valley History & Watershed Concerns, Notre Dame University. For senior citizen class participants only.

• Tuesday, May 1: 9–11 a.m. Watershed Cleanup at Patapsco State Park Partnering with Glenwood Middle School & Patapsco State Park, Orange Grove Area. For Glenwood Middle School teachers, staff, Arbutus scouts, parent helpers and trained PHG volunteers only.
• Saturday, May 5: 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Scenic and Guided Bike Tour Along the Patapsco Heritage Trail. Starts in parking lot A of historic Oella/Ellicott City off of Oella Avenue to the BWI trail in Hanover. Free to PHG members; $5 for others. Patapsco Heritage Trail map included. Shorter ride available for less adventurous. Participants must pre-register the Friday before ride at www.patapscoheritagegreenway/eventcal.html. • Sunday, May 6: 1–4:30 p.m. 12th Annual Garlic Mustard Challenge. Join other volunteers who compete to remove as much invasive garlic mustard from Patapsco State Park as they can. Prizes for all participants. After the pulling contest, learn about the Patapsco River Valley and all it has to offer through environmental/nature/history exhibits and taste dishes made with the herb garlic mustard. • Tuesday, May 8: 9 a.m.–1 p.m. WPHG Watershed Scavenger Hunt at Patapsco State Park Partnering with Bonnie Branch Middle School & Patapsco State Park, Avalon Area. For Bonnie Branch Middle School students, teachers, staff, parent helpers and trained PHG volunteers only.
