Celebrating Marylanders With an Entrepreneurial Spirit

The Maryland Entrepreneur Awards (MEA) were created to recognize leaders throughout Maryland who exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit through business, technology and education.

Applicants can be nominated or self-nominate and will be judged on their accomplishments and demonstration of the entrepreneurial spirit as conveyed in the application.

All winners will be recognized in Maryland Entrepreneur Quarterly and The Business Monthly. Awards will be presented at the Maryland Entrepreneur Award reception on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Hilton Garden Inn in Ellicott City, Maryland.

• These awards are open to all Maryland business owners/entrepreneurs.
• Submitted information becomes the sole property of Maryland Entrepreneur Quarterly.
• Maryland Entrepreneur Quarterly and Star Hotels are not responsible for lost or delayed entries.
• Applicants will not be notified when their applications have been received.
• Final judging will be done by objective, independent parties.
• The decisions of the judges will be final.
• Finalists’ and winners’ names, pictures and stories may be used for future advertising, publicity, press releases, and publications such as magazines and books.
