FMA Re-Elects 7 Directors, Adds 5 New Directors to Board

The Fort Meade Alliance (FMA), which works for 275 member companies that represent 60,000 employees in the area, has re-elected seven directors and added five new directors to its 25-member board, which represents a diverse group of businesses and industries.

The re-elected board members are Bob Hannon of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp.; Matthew Norris of Axom Technologies; Elizabeth Rendón-Sherman of LG-TEK; Gina Stewart of Merritt Construction; Steve Tiller of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston; Mitch Weber of Heffner & Weber; and Deon Viergutz of Lockheed Martin.

The alliance welcomed new board members Debra Lilley of Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), Andrew Meyer of Anne Arundel Community College, Patrick O’Shea of the University of Maryland, Joseph Pacileo of ManTech International Corp. and Joseph Samek of Wilhelm Commercial Builders.

Lilley is assistant vice president and senior director of SAIC’s strategic development in the Maryland/I-95 Corridor, O’Shea is professor and chair of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering, Meyer is vice president of learning at AACC, Pacileo is the vice president for cyber operations at ManTech International Corp. and Samek is senior vice president and director of government services for Wilhelm Commercial Builders.

The additional members of the board of directors are President Rosemary Budd, TASC; First Vice President Linda Greene, BWI Business Partnership; Treasurer Richard Young, TeleCommunication Systems; Secretary Gordon Knox, Miles & Stockbridge; Past President Jay Baldwin, CommerceFirst Bank; Penny Cantwell, CommerceFirst Bank; Stuart Title, A.J. Dickson Gribble, L-3 Communications; Jay Hierholzer, Coldwell Banker; Jason Silva, Sidus Group; Adrienne Trout, YMCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, and Roger Waesche, Corporate Office Properties Trust.
